...at Manhattan Institute, your complete course of study can be completed as follows:1) Full time day classes for three weeks - Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs
2) Part time evenings, for four weeks - Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs
3) Part time weekends, for four weeks - Sat & Sun
As you commence your training to become an EKG Technician your course of study will include:
1) An introductory to electrocardiography - the diagnostic procedure that used for electronically recording the activities of the heart. You will also learn about the supplies and equipment necessary to utilize and EKG machine.
2) Anatomy and Physiology of the heart, as well as the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
3) Specialized safety procedures in regards to working as an EKG Tech.
